produce a new adaptation of Shakespeare's Scottish classic. Jones,
who has penned seven original songs for the play, and who will
perform with his other band Joint Chiefs said "We tried to stick
pretty close to the feeling of the original as we wrote the music, so
most of it is dark and powerful." Ferranti added "There will be a
couple of changes though, and Willie may not even recognize this one.
Our version takes place in Charlestown, and Quincy." adding "The idea
is to make theater that's viable for people who normally hate theater
by including local references, injecting a lot of humor and making
the plays work with Rock Music". Besides Joint Chiefs the play
features members from Boston area bands: Miles Dethmuffen, Bim Skala
Bim, Fuzzy, Butterscott, The Boston Rock Opera, and the theater group
House Of Borax. Dave Wildman of The Boston Globe said "Acme Theatr is
a different kind of club experience."
